Grazia & Co proudly offers a 5-year warranty on the structural integrity of the frame for all our upholstered ottomans, sofas, and armchairs under normal use.

Warranty

  1. The 5-year warranty covers the structural integrity of the frame for upholstered items under normal use.
  2. The warranty does not cover damage caused by environmental factors, such as bowing, cracking, splitting, or shrinkage of the timber frame due to exposure to direct sunlight, heated floors, heating vents, or open fireplaces.
  3. An 18-month warranty covers manufacturing defects for foam and cushion inserts, excluding compression of feather or foam, which is considered normal wear.
  4. Cushion refilling and reupholstery services for any Grazia & Co product (available in Australia only) can be quoted on a job-by-job basis.
  5. The fabric components of upholstered items are not covered by our warranty, as Grazia & Co does not manufacture these fabrics.
  6. If an issue arises with a House fabric, Grazia & Co may, at its discretion, connect the end user directly with the fabric supplier to address any concerns or claims if we are unable to provide a suitable solution.

Grazia & Co offers a curated selection of ‘House’ fabrics, thoughtfully chosen and tested on our furniture. These high-quality textiles are sourced from trusted commercial suppliers in Australia.

Our House fabrics are selected based on:

            • Upholstery quality, including UV lightfastness and Martindale rub test results.
            • Material origin, with a focus on sustainably sourced materials.
            • Supplier reliability, ensuring timely delivery and responsive after-sales support.

Most interior upholstery fabrics should be regularly vacuumed and kept away from direct and indirect sunlight to prevent fading. To maintain their integrity, they should also be protected from moisture.

For detailed care and maintenance instructions for fabrics specified by a designer that fall outside our House range, please refer directly to the relevant fabric supplier.

Velvets vary in composition and sheen and may bruise or crush easily. While we steam velvet upholstery before delivery, this process may not fully remove bruising caused during manufacturing, such as handling through a sewing machine.

            Care & Maintenance

            1. Protect fabric from direct sunlight, heat, and weather to prevent fading and damage.
            2. Velvet should be professionally cleaned according to supplier recommendations.
            3. Regular vacuuming and use of a soft lint brush can help remove dust.
            4. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry, absorbent cloth—avoid rubbing.

Some semi-aniline and fully aniline leathers are intentionally supplied in their natural form, where insect bites, scars, and wrinkles may be visible. These marks are natural characteristics of genuine leather and are not considered flaws.

                  Care & Maintenance

                  1. Protect leather from direct sunlight, heat, and weather to prevent fading and damage.
                  2. Dust regularly with a clean, dry cloth or use the soft brush attachment on a vacuum cleaner.
                  3. Clean spills immediately by wiping with a clean cloth dampened with a leather cleaner specifically formulated for surface-finish leather.
                  4. Do not use shoe polish, saddle soap, floor polish, or laundry cleaning products, as they may damage the leather.

Cotton and polyester fabrics are durable and versatile, commonly used in upholstery for their practicality and ease of maintenance. Proper care helps preserve their appearance and longevity.

                        Care & Maintenance

                        1. Protect fabric from direct sunlight, heat, and weather to prevent fading and damage.
                        2. Vacuum regularly using low suction and a soft brush attachment.
                        3. Professionally clean according to the fabric supplier’s instructions.
                        4. Treat spills and stains immediately with a clean, damp cloth.
                        5. Dry in the shade and ensure the fabric is completely dry before use.

Each sheepskin hide is unique, with natural variations between individual pieces and batches. These variations in colour and texture are part of the inherent beauty of the material.

                                Care & Maintenance

                                1. Protect sheepskin from direct sunlight, heat, and weather to prevent fading and damage.
                                2. Store away from heat sources, such as blow dryers and radiators, to prevent damage.
                                3. Never use hot water, as it strips the natural lanolin from the pelt, making it rough and hard.
                                4. Do not rub or brush sheepskin when wet, as this can damage the fibres.
                                5. To clean small spills, wipe gently with a damp cloth and use tweezers to pluck away any debris or dirt stains.
                                6. For professional cleaning, choose a specialist in leather, suede, or fur.

The ‘House’ range of exterior fabrics offered by Grazia & Co is specifically selected for their suitability for outdoor use. The suppliers of the vinyl and canvas recommend weekly vacuuming to remove dust and dirt.

                                          Care & Maintenance

                                          1. While suitable for outdoor use, we recommend storing cushions indoors during winter to extend their lifespan.
                                          2. Grazia & Co also manufactures marine-grade vinyl covers for select items, such as sunloungers, to further protect your furniture from harsh climate conditions when not in use.

                                            Cushion Care

                                            1. We do not recommend removing cushion covers, as machine washing may cause shrinkage.
                                            2. Do not place furniture covers on wet or damp cushions, as mildew may develop.

                                              Stain and Spill Care

                                              1. Suntan lotions, sprays, and insect repellents may discolour outdoor upholstery.
                                              2. Acid-based liquids like coffee, wine, and fruit juice should be wiped off immediately. The longer a stain or spill remains, the harder it will be to remove. Do not use abrasive or solvent-based cleaners.

                                                Cleaning Instructions

                                                1. Spot clean spills immediately with mild soap and water using a sponge or very soft-bristle brush to gently remove stains.
                                                2. Rinse with clean water to remove any residue.

Grazia & Co ropes are fabricated in Australia using extruded pigmented yarn, ensuring durability and UV stability. They are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

                                                  Warranty

                                                  1. All rope will naturally stretch over time. The tension of the rope relaxes with use—this is a characteristic attribute and not covered by warranty.
                                                  2. Fading, stretching, and dirt build-up due to lack of maintenance are not covered by the Grazia & Co warranty.

                                                    Care & Maintenance

                                                    1. Regularly brush with a soft-bristle brush and vacuum to remove dirt.
                                                    2. For stubborn stains, use warm water and a gentle degreaser soap.
                                                    3. For roped chairs and stools , the tension may become unevenly distributed with usage over time. To redistribute the tension:
                                                    4. Begin at the opposite side (where the rope is still tight) and push down on the ropes, working your way toward the loose section.
                                                    5. Push the rope firmly and evenly to restore uniform tension.
                                                    6. Adjust in small increments to avoid over-tightening one section while leaving others loose.

Grazia & Co offers a warranty for both indoor and outdoor metal furniture, ensuring the structural integrity of steel and/or aluminium products. This warranty does not cover the decorative powder coat finish, which is addressed in the care and maintenance section.

                                                              Warranty

                                                              1. Grazia & Co offers a 5-year warranty for indoor metal furniture and 2 years for outdoor use.
                                                              2. The warranty covers the structural integrity of steel and/or aluminium products but does not extend to the powder coat finish. Please refer to the powder coat care and maintenance section for more details.
                                                              3. Wear and tear, such as chips, scratches, and dirt build-up, are not covered by the Grazia & Co warranty. Touch-up paint can be purchased on request (subject to availability).
                                                              4. Corrosion spots in weld joins are common for items left in the elements and are often caused by surface debris. As Grazia & Co outdoor pieces are manufactured from either 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel, or aluminium, this weathering will not compromise the structural integrity of the product and is not covered under the warranty

                                                                    Care & Maintenance

                                                                    • Please refer to the powder coat care and maintenance section for details on maintaining the finish of your metal furniture.

Powder coating protects metal surfaces but is essentially a decorative finish. Grazia & Co uses powder coating on various metals, including mild steel, aluminium, stainless steel 316, and stainless steel 304.

                                                                    Warranty

                                                                    • Powder coating is a decorative finish and is not covered under the furniture warranty for wear and tear, including chipping or scratching. Prompt repair or recoating is recommended to prevent further damage.

                                                                    Care & Maintenance

                                                                    1. To maintain powder-coated furniture, especially outdoor pieces exposed to the elements, clean regularly with a soft cloth and warm soapy water.
                                                                    2. For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner.
                                                                    3. Do not pressure wash or steam items with powder coating.
                                                                    4. Repair or re-coat chipped or scratched powder coating promptly to prevent further damage.
                                                                    5. Remove loose surface deposits carefully with a wet sponge.
                                                                    6. Clean by gently rubbing the surface with a soft, non-abrasive brush and a dilute solution of mild detergent in warm water to remove dust, salt, and other deposits. For stubborn stains, use recommended solvents like Isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or methylated spirits.

Compact laminate is scratch-resistant but not scratch-proof. It is easy to clean, solvent-resistant, and water-resistant.

                                                                              Warranty

                                                                              • Compact laminate does not carry a warranty for outdoor use, as it is not UV-stable.

                                                                              Care & Maintenance

                                                                              1. Dust with a soft cloth.
                                                                              2. For stubborn marks, clean with warm water and a household detergent or window cleaner.
                                                                              3. Do not use wool or metallic scourers as they will scratch the surface.

Grazia & Co offers various ‘house’ stones, including marble, granite, limestone, and travertine. Each stone type looks and performs differently. Natural stones vary in colour, texture, finish, thickness, weight, veining, and slab size, making each piece distinct. The availability of stone types within the Grazia & Co range may change.

The sample stones viewed on the Grazia & Co website and in showrooms are indicative representations of what a stone ‘type’ will look like.

Veins in stone can resemble fine cracks. These veins are a result of geological forces during the stone’s formation and are not considered faults or defects but rather a unique characteristic of natural materials.

                                                                                  Warranty

                                                                                  • Natural stones, such as marble, granite, limestone, and travertine, are unique, and variations in color, texture, and veining are inherent. These natural features are not considered defects and are not covered under warranty.

                                                                                  Care & Maintenance

                                                                                  1. Clean regularly with a soft cloth and warm soapy water.
                                                                                  2. For tougher stains, use a mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
                                                                                  3. Avoid using acidic or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the stone’s surface.
                                                                                  4. For marble surfaces, avoid exposure to acidic substances like citrus or wine, as they can etch the surface.
                                                                                  5. For glass and tile surfaces, use a suitable glass cleaner or mild detergent to maintain the shine.

Natural stone slabs often arrive with fillers from the quarry. These fillers are matched at the discretion of the quarry, stone supplier, and/or stonemason. During the cutting process, using a diamond-head waterjet, stone can chip due to its composition. This is considered normal. It is industry standard and common practice to use epoxy or water-based resin to aesthetically fill these variations in slab form or post-cutting.

                                                                                          Warranty

                                                                                          1. If a custom stone has been specified and/or supplied to Grazia & Co, replacement of the stone is not covered under the Grazia & Co warranty should it be compromised in transit or during processing.
                                                                                          2. Staining and chipping are considered general wear and tear and are not covered under the warranty.

                                                                                            Care & Maintenance

                                                                                            1. Natural stone can be cleaned with warm, soapy water.
                                                                                            2. Avoid leaving food residue or liquid on the stone for an extended period as this can cause permanent staining.
                                                                                            3. For any visible cracks, chips, or stains, consult a professional for repair or cleaning recommendations.

During fabrication, tiny, trapped gas particles may develop in tinted or clear glass, appearing as air bubbles. These are harmless and do not affect the lifespan of the item. Grazia & Co quality control ensures these are within tolerance before delivery.

                                                                                                Warranty

                                                                                                1. Chipping and scratching are considered wear and tear and are not covered under the Grazia & Co warranty.
                                                                                                2. Glass is a strong work surface but is not designed to be sat or stood on. Any damage from such use is not covered under the warranty.

                                                                                                  Care & Maintenance

                                                                                                  1. When cleaning glass, avoid cleaners containing hydrofluoric or phosphoric acid, as these are corrosive to glass surfaces.
                                                                                                  2. Do not use harsh cleaners, abrasive powders, scouring pads, or other harsh materials.
                                                                                                  3. Clean and dust hard, flat surface materials with a soft cloth.

Solid timber and veneer timbers can vary in colour, natural figuration, and texture. These are characteristics found in natural materials and are not considered faults. Painted and stained timber can chip, exposing the natural colour of the timber, which is not covered under warranty and is considered wear and tear.

                                                                                                      Warranty

                                                                                                      • Grazia & Co offers a 2-year warranty on the structural integrity of timber tables, beds, desks, and storage, including bedside tables and sideboards.

                                                                                                      Exclusions

                                                                                                      1. Bowing, cracking, splitting of veneer or timber shrinkage caused by direct sunlight, heated floors, heating vents, or open fireplaces are not covered under warranty.
                                                                                                      2. Scratches, scuffs, and chipping of 2Pac, clear lacquer, painted, and oiled finishes are considered wear and tear and are not covered under warranty.
                                                                                                      3. If third-party hardware/components are faulty, Grazia & Co will seek compensation or replacement from the supplier within 12 months of the delivery date.

                                                                                                          Care & Maintenance

                                                                                                          1. To preserve the timber’s finish and protect its natural characteristics, avoid direct sunlight, and heat exposure, which can cause damage over time.
                                                                                                          2. Regularly dust and clean timber surfaces with a soft cloth to prevent scratches and damage to finishes.
                                                                                                          3. When cleaning, use a damp cloth—avoid harsh chemicals that could harm the finish.

Grazia & Co offers swivel components for various pieces of furniture, with warranties varying based on the source and manufacturing of the mechanism.

                                                                                                              Warranty

                                                                                                              1. Externally sourced swivel mechanisms: 12-month warranty under normal use, with a maximum weight load of 120kg.

                                                                                                                1. To maintain the integrity of the swivel mechanism, avoid exceeding the recommended weight load.
                                                                                                                2. Regularly inspect the mechanism for signs of wear or damage and contact Grazia & Co for assistance if necessary.
                                                                                                                3. Clean the swivel base and surrounding area with a soft cloth to ensure smooth operation.
